The Palm Treo 750 smart-phone is the first device from Palm that runs the Windows Mobile Operating System. It includes High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) capability for high speed cellular data access. The display is a 65k color, 240 x 240 pixel touch screen. It has integrated Bluetooth 1.2 wireless technology. It has a new side mounted mini-SD memory expansion and a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 2x digital zoom. The wireless phone is a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS radio. It supports the 850/900/1800/1900 GSM bands, and 850/1900/2100 UTMS bands.

The buttons are all very easy to press. The QWERTY keyboard may look to have very small buttons but I think we find no trouble using them.

There is Bluetooth, Infra-red, USB and Mini SD for connectivity options. Bluetooth works. USB works (and can be used for charging when using Windows Mobile 6). The infra red is a nice feature as the growing trend among smart phones is for this to be phased out. The omission of Wifi is a major downer. There are limits to the size of attachments being downloaded through email (a 3mb file did not make it through) and this is a disappointment given the fact it is a 3G phone. The sound quality would be fine although it uses a 2.5mm headset jack. It uses a standard, removable rechargeable battery (Li-Ion 1200 mAh) which can provide 4.5 hours talk-time, and 240 hours stand-by time.A switch on top of the phone to easy switch between silent and normal profile. This is especially useful when you suddenly remember that your phone is not in silent and you can discreetly switch it to silent without looking at the screen. This phone has ability to ignore a call and quickly compose a text message, such as “In a meeting” or “Can’t talk”; and Dedicated messaging application for SMS/MMS that is organized in a “chat thread” so users can reference prior messages and use emoticons for a personal touch.

This weights merely 5.4 ounces i.e.., 154 grams. These devices are appealing to professionals who need to get some work done during their traveling hours to work.

Nokia 9300 is a fantastic phone with a symbian 7 operating system which has many other cool features like SMS, MMS, E-mail, MS-Office, Support for HTML and XHTML, Bluetooth, Infrared, USB 2.0, 80MB of internal memory and expandable memory card option and also have advanced voice features like Conference calling, voice recorder and Hands free speaker and battery life is good too. It can provide 4.5 hours talk-time, and 200 hours stand-by time
Now coming to the looks, it is quiet smaller than nokia 9500 and has QWERTY keypads and large internal display and weight up to 127 g.

So we can buy this phone if we don’t want camera and doesn’t care of vibration alert as it doesn’t have a vibration alert.

• Smaller - 132 x 51 x 21 mm compared to the 9500’s 148 x 57 x 24 mm
• Physically smaller screen with 9500’s resolution that can be tilted full 180 degrees
• No Wi-fi except in 9300i
• No built-in camera
• Smaller battery - 970mAh BP-6M battery (later revisions of BP-6M are 1100mAh however) compared to the 9500’s 1300mAh BP-5L.
